I don’t think many people missed it according to my website stats, but just over a month ago my second son Felix was born and I blogged the images tactfully documenting his arrival into the world. Last Friday he was a month old so I spent chunks of the day photographing him for his Baby First Year photography album that I’m going to be creating.
Here are some of my favourites from last Friday… Starting with him asleep and cosy in his little chair and fluffy blanket.

When he woke up later on, it was bath time…

This is possibly my favourite from the day.

Big brother Casper, who still idolises and adores his baby brother! He must kiss and cuddle him 20 times a day, completely unprompted.

I wanted to finish with a family shot but because I didn’t want it to look stale, I shouted Casper’s favourite word ‘shenanigans’. It had the desired effect on Casper’s expression, but unfortunately scared the living daylights out of Felix!

And back to sleep again, albeit very temporarily!

Babies change so quickly and so dramatically particularly in their first year. It’s so important to document and remember the changes. Alongside my wedding photography service I also offer an exclusive Baby’s First Year photography package where I’ll come to you once a month to photograph your little one naturally. I can then create you a beautiful album to preserve these most precious of memories. Later this week I’ll give you an update on Isla’s First Year that I’m in the process of capturing for her parents.
