I’ve been wanting to photograph a wedding at Arley Hall since the day I started ARJ Photography, this Thursday I will be shooting my first wedding at Arley Hall and that makes me a very happy wedding photographer! Last Bank Holiday Monday I visited Arley Hall to get a feel for the hall and gardens. It was an incredibly beautiful day to spend a couple of hours at such an incredibly beautiful wedding venue!

Arley Hall itself is grand without being ostentatious. It’s sophisticated but somehow homely. It’s privately owned by Lord and Lady Ashbrook and you can tell it’s loved. And it’s just as beautiful (maybe more) on the inside as it is on the outside. I can see why you would choose Arley Hall as your wedding venue, and if you do then please choose me as your wedding photographer ;)

After having a good look around Arley Hall, I spent at least an hour wandering the gardens looking for wedding photography locations. The trick with such a stunningly beautiful wedding venue is finding the best and doing the venue justice.

The Arley Hall gardens are famous, and so much time must go into planning and maintaining them – they seem to go on forever!

The weather at Arley Hall on bank holiday Monday was spectacular! I wish I’d been photographing a wedding that day!

Bluebells! I wonder if these will still be out for the wedding on Thursday?

As well as the amazing gardens at Arley Hall there are some fantastic little hidden gems which would make great backgrounds.

Can you tell how much I like Arley Hall? If you’re getting married there, please consider me as your wedding photographer!
