Oh boy I’ve been looking forward to featuring Liz and Jon’s engagement session on the blog. It was one of those days when everything went right – you get them once in a while – perfect couple, location, weather (and photographer, obviously!).
We’d had some rain the day before so everything in the forest was a little bit shinier and greener than if it had been dry, and it was a cloudy day but the sun kept breaking through – perfect light. I don’t make a habit of telling people what to wear but Liz’s dress was a perfect contrast of colour against all the natural hues of the forest. Well done Liz!
And they wore wellies! Just to give their photos that final touch of their character.
All I had to do was offer a little direction and find the best light and locations to make their photos sing. I couldn’t love their photos more, and they have also been featured on one of my favourite wedding blogs – English Wedding.
