I’m having to blog Anna and Neil’s wedding in two parts because if I tried to do it in one it would be epic! Anna and Neil are such a brilliant couple – remember them from their pre-wedding shoot up at White Nancy in the Bollington hills?
Fast forward a few weeks and it was their wedding day on a beautiful late spring day. When I arrived to start their wedding photography, the atmosphere was lovely – mainly thanks to a very calm, very upbeat, VERY smily Anna! You could just tell how much she was looking forward to marrying Neil today…

One of my favourites from the morning…

Anna and Neil’s cards to each other…

Anna and Neil’s home is full of little discreet messages of positivity… Love it.

Off to the church to meet Neil… It was the usual last minute rush to get everybody’s button holes pinned on!

The church is St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Sale, Manchester. A church where Anna and Neil are regular members of the congregation so their priest (affectionately known as ‘Robbo’) knows them very well. This made for a very personal, very enjoyable ceremony.

I’ve always got my eye out for cheeky little people during a wedding ceremony!

Rather than having them ‘pretending’ to sign the register, we just did a couple of photos in front of the beautiful altar at St Joseph’s.

Before leading the procession out of the church as husband and wife, Anna and Neil had a little dance at the front. It was such a brilliant personal touch!

I love Anna’s face on this confetti photo… Kissing her new husband but watching the confetti fall. A great moment.

That’s your lot for part one… As we headed off to Walkden Gardens for some relaxed portraits of the newlyweds. But just to whet your appetite for part two, here’s a taster of what’s to come next…

That’ll be here on the blog on Friday lunchtime, so see you then!

Neil Redfern - Fantastic coverage Adam! You’ve caught so many great fleeting moments, the shot of the bride’s shoe as she is stepping out of the car is very clever :-) looking forward to seeing more!
