Liz and Jon’s wedding was one of my 2010 favourites. Not only are they truly lovely people, but their engagement shoot and wedding both achieved coverage for them and ARJ Photography on the fantabulous English Wedding blog.
Liz was one of the most relaxed brides I’ve known on the morning of her big day. I started by capturing some of her gorgeous details, including a stunning vintage-styled wedding dress and shoes. I think I disturbed someone while upstairs though…

The bridal bouquet was a beautiful little bundle of autumn. Gorgeous autumnal colours for their autumn wedding.

Liz’s hair and make-up was by the brilliant Mel of Melanie Meik Make-up. Mel not only did a tremendous job of Liz’s wedding day look, but was also a guest and a massive help to me throughout the day. Thanks Mel! Look forward to working with you again.

Jon and the boys met at a local pub before heading over to the church… I generally left them to it as nerves were running high, but I captured a few of his details and the all important rings.

St Werburgh’s Church was the venue for Liz and Jon’s ceremony.

This ceremony was lots of fun and Jon and Liz smiled and laughed throughout. I love wedding ceremonies, and couldn’t help smiling along…

So as their guests gathered on the heritage bus for the journey to the reception at Oddfellows, storm clouds appeared to be gathering. But would we make it to Grosvenor Park for our planned couple portraits??

You’ll have to wait for part two to find out in a few days…
Liz Roberts - Damn cat! She’s always stealing my thunder!
So happy these are up on the blog! Thanks Adam xxx
Sam Clayton - gorgeous Adam – I love the shoe & dress image – in fact I love those shoes!
