I’m really looking forward to Jane and Andrew’s June wedding as it’s a full on city centre wedding at the gorgeous Manchester Town Hall and one of my fave Manchester reception venues too – the Castlefield Rooms. It was great to meet up with them for their engagement shoot at Heaton Park, one of Manchester’s less urban gems!
Jane and Andrew are perfect examples of why pre-wedding engagement shoots are so valuable – not only do we have a great time but I get the chance to know them a bit better, they get to know me a bit better, they learn to relax with a big camera pointing at them and I get to create them some really cool images which they’ll enjoy looking at for years to come of them on a normal day having a fun time at the park!

I love doing ‘stolen moments’ photos. And I can’t resist bluebells! It’s the inner child. I’d like to say the repressed inner child but I tend to wear my inner child on the outside mostly, and I love getting down on my belly to take shots like this!!
I’d been over to Heaton Park a week earlier to scout out some locations and just knew straight away we had to use the tram! Yep, that’s the child in me again. This time though I let Andrew and Jane get on without me and disappear off into the woods!
