Often people are apprehensive, or nervous before an engagement shoot… It’s one of the reasons I find them to be a really important part of the wedding photography experience, even moreso for brides who are as nervous as Natalie was. As soon as she arrived, she confessed she was sick with nerves. I reassured her it was going to be fun and we were going to get some amazing images out of it.
Steven on the other hand, is probably the most laid back groom I’ve met this year. He’s hilarious (I know, sorry Natalie, you said not to encourage him), he’s brutally honest and says exactly what he thinks. It made for great banter and between him making her laugh and me showing her a lot of photos on the back of the camera, Natalie soon got into it and even enjoyed it.
