We left off in part 1 just after Sally and Lee’s Manchester wedding ceremony up in Cloud 23 at the Manchester Hilton hotel. While their guests sipped champagne for a little while and enjoyed some divine looking food, we went to explore the Hilton and create some beautiful cool, modern, relaxed portraits.

Doesn’t Sally look stunningly beautiful?

A simple two-speedlight setup to capture a contemporary portrait with incredible views across a very cold and wintery Manchester as a backdrop.

Unfortunately, the minus ten degree temperatures outside prevented us from spending any more time out there than was necessary. But I braved it long enough to get a shot of Sally and Lee’s vintage Rolls Royce with their guests bus waiting to take them over to another Manchester landmark venue – The Lowry Theatre at Salford Quays.

While everybody settled in to venue number two – The Lowry Theatre at Salford Quays – I set about capturing Sally and Lee’s intricate detailing in their reception room.

Great speeches. I was looking forward to hearing Sally’s Dad Dave’s speech after enjoying his speech at Lucy and Griff’s wedding earlier in the year.

I thought it was lovely how instead of a traditional groom speech, Lee and Sally did a speech together.

Before the first dance we managed to sneak off into the colourful corridors of The Lowry for some more photos.

What a GREAT wedding day this was. Ridiculously cold, but great and it suited Sally and Lee perfectly. Plus I got to work at two of Manchester’s great wedding venues while capturing the special day of a brilliant couple. Congratulations guys, and I wish you all the happiness in the world for your future together.
