Another July Friday wedding and I was back at the Marriott Worsley Park Hotel and Country Club for the second time in a week and the third time this year. It’s when you’ve worked at a venue a few times that you realise that the venue may be the same but every wedding is so unique. That’s one thing I absolutely love about what I do – you never really know what’s going to happen.
Beckie and Mark are a brilliant couple. Such characters (especially Beckie) and such incredible fun to spend time with! Great friends and family too and they had a fantastic day.

Beckie presented her bridesmaids with a lovely earring and necklace set each.

Mark and his groomsmen were busy getting dressed downstairs on the other side of the hotel…

While the girls were having their makeup done…

Now Beckie was one of the calmest brides I’ve known throughout the morning – until she saw her bridesmaids in their dresses!

The ceremony room was decorated absolutely beautifully for Beckie and Mark by venue dressers and wedding co-ordinators Eventures. Their co-ordinator on the day, Marie-Clare was brilliant, so organised and such a help to me along with my favourite toastmaster Stephen T Sanders.

You’ll see what this is later…

Beckie’s nerves truly kicked in after she’d put on her dress.

This was such an important detail to Beckie to have her drinks for her champagne reception arranged in a heart shape. More great attention to detail by the Eventures team.

Having a toastmaster adds something extra to the day, and particularly the speeches. Stephen T Sanders is one of the best, and I love working with him. He’s such a character and such a professional in what he does.

What a gorgeous bride, in a gorgeous dress, holding gorgeous flowers in gorgeous sunset light!

I probably should’ve guessed after getting to know Beckie and Mark that they wouldn’t be having a slow sway for their first dance! Cue a bit of uptempo Barry White!

What a day! A brilliant wedding for a really fun couple. Congrats Beckie and Mark and thanks for choosing me to be your photographer – I had an absolute blast!!
