I’ve been a Manchester Town Hall wedding photographer on a few occasions now – most recently for Debbie and John’s intimate and sophisticated wedding day. I love it more each time I go back – there are endless possibilities for photos, including the obvious settings like the incredible staircases and long corridors. A lot of people talk about it being a ‘dark venue’ and while I agree, I just think it adds incredible atmosphere to your wedding photography.
There’s a real sense of occasion when you arrive at Manchester Town Hall for your wedding and make the way up the grand stone staircases to your ceremony. I’d say there are very few venues in the country with that sense of anticipation. As a Manchester Town Hall wedding photographer I feel that very sense of anticipation, in fact it’s one of my favourite part of the day those moments before the bride enters the ceremony to walk up the aisle toward her soon-to-be husband. Pretty special!
