Wedding Photography: What Happens When?

Have a look around my site (and others) and make sure you’re completely happy with the style of photography – is it what you want for your day? Do you want my artistic, relaxed ‘documentary and portraits’ approach or do you want something different. It’s ok if you do! Everyone wants something different and there’s a photographer for everyone.
If you would like to talk to me about capturing your day, then get in touch to check my availability. I book up quite quickly, especially on key season Fridays and Saturdays, and if you do contact me there’s no commitment to book me at all.
If I’m available on your date then I’d love to arrange to come and see you, show you some albums and have a chat about you, your wedding and what you want from your photography. Still no obligation to book me at this meeting.
When you decide to book me, I take a £500 booking fee to reserve your date in my diary, and there’s a short form to sign. You got yourself a wedding photographer!
At this point we’d usually set a date for your pre-wedding experience – maybe two or three months before your wedding which means if you do want to use your pre-wedding photos as a guest book, signing frame or for your wedding stationery there’s still plenty of time.
We’ll meet up wherever you want for your pre-wedding shoot – Manchester, Paris, Venice, New York – if it’s outside Manchester or Cheshire I just ask for travel and accommodation costs. After your shoot, we’ll also discuss the plans and timings for the wedding day in a bit more detail.
A few weeks before your wedding, we’ll either meet up again or chat on the phone or by email to confirm all the final timings and make sure I know all I need to know so that you can get on with enjoying your day, and I can get on with capturing it for you!
Then it’s the main event!
