Sandhya and Parit’s Destination Wedding in Khao Lak, Thailand – a preview!

I make no secret of my love for destination weddings or my desire to do more and more of them. It’s an adventure and experience for the body, mind and soul and as I sit here, broken from one of the most tiring weeks of my career, I can’t help but smile and laugh my way through the images from Sandyha and Parit’s destination Indian wedding in Khao Lak, Thailand last week. I was lucky to have the most awesome Chris Mee alongside me shooting this one, and I quite literally couldn’t have done it without him!

I met Sandhya last year in Thailand at Meera and Meeraj’s wedding so when she asked me to come back out there for her and Parit’s wedding just over a year later I obviously jumped at the chance. It’s hard to imagine that a year has passed in between, and being back in Thailand surrounded by many people who I’d met and become friends with a year earlier I just felt at home.

Three seventeen hour days and very little sleep later and it was all over and our cameras were steaming from the number of images we’d captured of the epic events that unfolded before us. The weather didn’t play ball on the wedding day and plans had to change but that didn’t affect what was a tremendously unforgettable experience for everyone involved. I can’t wait to show Sandhya and Parit what we were able to capture for them.

But for now, just a little taster of what happened in Khao Lak…
