Kat and Tony’s marquee wedding

Ah, remember sunshine? Remember not having to wear seventeen layers to step outside your front door. I think I’m over winter now and ready for gorgeous warm days like the one Kat and Tony were lucky to have for their wedding last September. It was one of the most beautiful days of last summer, and meant they could go with their Plan A and have a very outdoorsy wedding on Kat’s parents farm. Everyone brought their wellies but they weren’t really needed in the end!

It was an absolute pleasure to work with my awesome friends Dancefloor Couture on this wedding, with the brilliant Robin acting as compere for the day. Ultra professional and organised without spoling the relaxed nature of the day, seriously can’t recommend Robin and his team highly enough – a real pleasure to work alongside.

After a church ceremony in Rainford, Kat and Tony led their guests back to the farm where there was an endless supply of drinks and flapjacks, a really cool buffet dinner and delicious outdoor barbecue. I loved being part of it all.

To Kat and Tony – thanks for having me there, for feeding me so well (I may have taken a handful of flapjacks home with me at the end of the day!) and for making me feel like a friend and guest. I’m glad you love your photos so much! Wishing you a happiness filled life…
