Fearless award winning photography
I couldn’t believe it when I woke up this morning to a couple of messages from good friends telling me I had won three new Fearless awards in collection 27! Here they are:
I took this at Sandhya and Parit’s destination wedding in Thailand, just after her Mehndi party in the baking midday heat! It was a pleasure to head indoors into the air conditioning to take a few portraits before she got changed for the Sangeet celebrations that evening!
I get asked a lot of questions about this photo!! Is it real? Is it a composite? Is it camera trickery? Well it’s completely real, taken in a single shot, and not using any mirrors or prisms or anything. Just a simple acrobatic waitress hanging from a ring attached the ceiling, serving champagne upside down at William and Hannah’s Peak District wedding, as you do!
One of my favourite ever ‘getting ready’ photos from Katie and Ali’s Peckforton Castle wedding while Katie was having her make-up applied as her Pronovias gown nonchalantly hung from the chandelier trying to steal the limelight!
I absolutely love winning awards. It makes me happy and Fearless awards are notoriously difficult to win on a regular basis. These are my 5th, 6th and 7th fearless awards and I couldn’t be prouder! Thanks to Fearless, to the judges of collection 27, and to the couples who continue to put their faith in me week out. Congratulations to all the other collection 27 winners too – you can see the full collection here.
