Larna and Stewart’s back garden wedding in Crosby
Well, after a crazy summer season of weddings things are calming down a little (before a crazy winter season kicks in!) so I’m going to start catching up on a summer’s worth of blogging that’s been a little neglected, starting right here with Larna and Stewart’s amazing wedding day from the end of June. I use the word ‘summer’ loosely by the way, as I’m pretty sure that season didn’t actually happen in 2012.
Back to Larna and Stewart. I’d always been looking forward to their wedding, but especially since their crosby beach engagement shoot where we really got to know each other, spent a couple of hours laughing and admiring a pretty spectacular sunset. I knew then that their day would be something pretty special, and it certainly was.
Their wedding happened over in Crosby, Liverpool. After a church ceremony they partied the day and night away in a gorgeous marquee in the garden of Larna’s family home.
Anyway, on with the photos. My favourites from Larna and Stewart’s marquee wedding photography. And a very special royal guest…
One of the first things Larna said to me when I arrived was ‘did you see my letter from the Queen?!’. She’d written to Buckingham Palace to tell them about the wedding, and they had written back. The reply was framed and had pride of place next to the wedding cake!
So much fun!! What a day! Larna and Stewart, you had an unforgettably incredible wedding day. It was my absolute pleasure to be there as your wedding photographer and thank you for making me feel as welcome as any other guest. I’m lucky to have met you both, and wish you a lifetime of happiness together.
