ISPWP Award – Scream!

I was really pleased to win another ISPWP Award – my 26th – in the Fall 2016 contest for this image, taken at Becky and Charlie’s wedding at Abbey Farm B&B in the midlands back in August!

This is a single exposure created using a simple flash technique to capture the same person twice during a long exposure (not that long, a couple of seconds maybe)… The party was crazy and erratic and I wanted to capture that craziness for Becky and Charlie. I didn’t realise I’d captured the ‘happily ever after’ from Becky and Charlie’s card postbox until I saw the photo on the computer screen, and for me that’s what makes the photo. I was so happy when it won an award in the ISPWP ‘movement and motion’ category.
