Kirsty and Paul’s Knutsford Wedding at Belle Epoque
Just over a month ago I got to spend the day taking photos at Paul and Kirsty’s wedding in Knutsford, at the Belle Epoque. I’ve worked at the Belle Epoque quite a few times over the last few years but this was the first time I’d been there in over a year and a half so it was lovely to be back at one of the not-so-hidden gems of the Cheshire wedding scene! Having met up with Kirsty and Paul for a pre-wedding shoot in Formby only a month earlier, I’d been really looking forward to a smile-filled wedding and it certainly didn’t disappoint! Kirsty did not stop smiling from morning until night, and neither did Paul. It was a really wonderful day and a privilege to be part of and photograph.
And it was a beautiful English spring day too, probably one of the first properly nice days of the year – they had their ceremony in the uniquely atmospheric upstairs ceremony room at Belle Epoque then enjoyed their pimms on the terrace. We escaped temporarily for some portraits in and around King Street, and later on even managed a walk over to the park for some extra relaxed shots of the bridal party. Fun.
So in a nutshell: wonderful people, delicious food, special venue, lovely weather. I’d sum that up as perfect. Let’s start with daffodils…
Humongous and heartfelt congratulations to Kirsty and Paul!
