Wedding Photography at Mitton Hall

Wow this seems like forever ago. But it wasn’t, it was only in August, and putting the photo selection together for this blog post I truly remember it like it was yesterday. It’s easy to forget that it rained for a bit just after Katie, Andy and their guests arrived at Mitton Hall for their wedding reception because the weather throughout the rest of the day was so perfect, and one of the most colourful sunset skies I’ve witnessed at a wedding. How could we not capture it!

Mitton Hall is a venue I’ve only worked at a handful of times, but I absolutely love it there. That’s mainly because of Master of Ceremonies Dave, but it is a truly wonderful wedding venue. Katie got ready there in the morning while Andy had a few beers got ready at The Swan just down the road, while being attacked but luckily not stung by a few angry wasps!

Katie and Andy are two of the most brilliantly chilled people I’ve had the pleasure to meet. Nothing fazes them. Katie had to put her dress on twice in the morning – she wasn’t bothered. One of her guests spilt a bottle of beer all down her dress during the drinks reception – she just sat there happily chatting while he mopped it up! They were brilliant to spend time with, easy to take photos of and I had an absolute blast with them on their  Mitton Hall wedding day.
