Masters of Wedding Photography UK Awards

I was really really pleased to pick up two fresh awards from Masters of Wedding Photography UK & Ireland in the latest contest, and for two of my favourite images of 2016 too.

I love this photo because for me it captures the fairytale magic of this moment from their first dance. They were surrounded by their friends and family but danced together like they were there all alone and I wanted to somehow capture that. I just love the connection between them.

Scream if you want to live Happily Ever After

This was a fluke that I only spotted when I got back to the computer! Becky and Charlie’s wedding was crazy – I wanted to show that and also this guest had such an animated face! Then when I got home I realised she had ‘happily ever after’ sitting in her hand (caught from the wedding post box way in the background)! A happy accident!
