Jenny and Andy’s Lancashire wedding in Clitheroe at Mitton Hall
About six weeks ago Jenny and Andy did that thing where they get super dressed up then say I do and have a big party. I was there and I took photos. It was fun.
After a pre-wedding shoot punctuated by torrential rain and freezing winds a few weeks earlier, Jenny and Andy deserved sunshine on their wedding day and they absolutely got it all day long! I hadn’t been to Mitton Hall for a couple of years and it was great to be back there with legendary master of ceremonies Dave. Mitton Hall has such a uniquely welcoming and homely feel to it, and the recent renovations have really improved the wedding breakfast room. It’s impossible not to feel relaxed when you’re there and with Dave’s unique brand of toastmastery, everything runs like clockwork.
Jenny and Andy had a lovely lunch time ceremony at Christ Church in Walmsley near her parents house, before heading over to Mitton Hall for the rest of this beautiful summer day. They spent some time with their guests and we went for a wander round the gorgeous gardens to make some photos of just the two of them. After a delicious meal and brilliant speeches, we nipped out to the front of the hall for some photos in the setting sun before they danced the night away.
Brilliant day.

Congratulations Jenny and Andy – thanks for having me at your Mitton Hall wedding!

Silky skills as always! Love the one of just the legs walking scross the dancefloor; a proper beauty, that!

A stunning collection of images as always Adam. Amazing use of light in every photograph and those confetti shots are just perfection!

These are lovely photos. I’ve been looking through your posts and I love all the candid and natural shots you take, they make the photographs seem really personal. The photos of the happy couple are gorgeous too!
