An Oddfellows on the Park Cheshire Summer Wedding
Robin and Rachel’s wedding at Oddfellows on the Park, Cheshire
Feeling the enthusiasm for my photography from my couples is like a powerful energy drink to me. I love to take photos but the reason I love to take photos at weddings is because of the happiness I’m able to bring out in my couples with the results. It’s why I’m still loving being a wedding photographer now as much as I did when I captured my first wedding at the beginning of 2010.
Robin and Rachel’s enthusiasm for having me as their photographer was amazing. It’s the dream, truly. And they got married at a venue so local to me I could walk there. But I have too many bags, so that’s my excuse for taking the car! Anyway, Oddfellows on the Park is my local. It’s also somewhere I’ve been most of my life – from being a child myself and spending evenings and summers exploring Bruntwood Park with my friends, taking my first BMX to the Bruntwood BMX track, or as a dad taking my kids to Bruntwood Park… it hasn’t always been Oddfellows on the Park for all that time, but now it is, it’s so nice to go there to do one of the things I love the most and that’s to attend and capture beautiful weddings for wonderful people.
Rachel and Robin’s wedding was one of pure love. They adore each other, and they adore their kids, and their kids adore them. Their friends are their family and their family are their friends. That stuff gives me goosebumps and inspires me to want to be a better person myself. And it’s such a joy to be at weddings where there is this much love. And to do it in a place like Oddfellows on the Park just makes it extra special.
Thanks for having me Robin and “R2”. You rule.
