This is where you’ll find my film wedding photos. Medium format and 35mm wedding photographs with all the colour, grain and nostalgia that comes with film photography. I photograph weddings on both film and digital, but film sits at the heart of how I feel about the magic of photography and life.
What sets me apart is that I shoot my own film obviously, but I also develop it and scan it myself in the ARJ darkroom (the dARJroom) so what you see here is a complete, honest thread from the moment I press the shutter to the moment you see the photo – all ARJ. Total magic.
The photos on this page were all taken at weddings using film cameras and a variety of film stocks. I have a Contax Aria, Leica Minilux and Mamiya RB67 as my main film cameras for weddings, and I shoot all sorts of film depending on the time of day, time of year and type of wedding.
