Hi and welcome to ARJ Photography®! I’m Adam and I’ve been a wedding photographer since 2010 and I’m hazarding a guess that if you’ve landed on this page you’re probably planning your own wedding at Hampton Court Castle? Well massive congratulations – I think you’re getting married at one of the most amazing wedding venues and one of my absolute favourites from all the hundreds of weddings I’ve photographed over the years!
Take a look at the photos in the slideshow above, and in my wedding photography portfolio and weddings blog, and if you love what you see, I’d love to hear from you so we can talk about your wedding!
Hampton Court Castle offers so many different spots for amazing wedding photos. The inner courtyard and the main entrance are great for epic photos, the gardens are amazing for more natural photos, and I know of some cool hidden gem spots too!
I can make amazing wedding photos for you at any time of day, but it's always worth making sure you leave a little space in your timeline around golden hour and towards twilight as this is always an amazing time for photos if the weather is good!
I'm a very instinctive photographer in the way I approach your wedding so I prefer to bounce off you and your personalities instead of pre-planning photos ahead of the wedding. I react to the light and the way you are individually and as a couple in my photography.
Well fortunately Hampton Court Castle has some amazing interiors and covered areas, so if you do get a rainy wedding day it won't affect your photos, I'll still make beautiful photos for you!
Yes I have photographed weddings at Hampton Court Castle - all the photos on this page were taken at Hampton Court Castle, and the first time I worked there I absolutely fell in love with it and it became one of my all time favourite wedding venues!
Good question! The japanese garden and waterfall is epic, and the walk through the woodland to get there is perfect for photos too. After this we can head into the maze and the formal gardens once they've been closed to the public!
I'll send you a questionnaire and ask you to list the group photos you want to have on the day. This is the most important thing to make sure group photos don't completely dominate your drinks reception. Between me and a bridesmaid and usher, we'll make sure they're fun and quick!
No you don't need to practice posing for your wedding photos with me. My style is extremely natural, and while I'll give you lots of direction you won't have to 'pose' and you shouldn't feel like you're posing. I know how to make people look amazing in photos - just leave it to me!
This is very important to me, whatever the venue but especially at unique and striking venues like Hampton Court Castle. The lenses I use and the way I use light and composition, combined with my 15 years experience mean that everything that needs to be captured will be captured - especially your epic wedding venue!
Golden hour is the last hour before sunset, so it's always important to make sure you know when this is and leave a little space in your timeline at this point in the day so we can nip out for 10 minutes and make the most of it.
Amazing! This would make my day. Contact me now so we can have a zoom call to get to know each other and you can ask me any other questions. Then there's just a quick booking form and deposit to pay to secure your date in my diary. Let's do this!
Since photographing my first wedding way back in 2010 I’ve won hundreds of awards for my individual photos from all the top wedding photography awards. I’ve also won some major accolades too for my work and service as a whole including TWICE being named the national ‘wedding photographer of the year’ by The Wedding Industry Awards! I’d love to bring my A Game to your wedding!
My style is editorial documentary wedding photography – what that means is that first and foremost I care about the real moments that happen at your wedding (documentary) and then my job is to turn those iconic moments into beautiful photos that wouldn’t look out of place on the walls of an art gallery or in the pages of a high end magazine (editorial). You can read more about my style and approach here.
I can only accept 20-25 wedding photography bookings each year, so my diary fills up really quickly! So if you love the way my photos look and feel and you’d love the same for your wedding, let’s talk ASAP!
