Cyprus is one of those places which just feels like home from the moment you land. The people are a delight, the scenery is beautiful, they drive on the left and have UK plug sockets… so I was already feeling that warm fuzzy feeling and then I met Clare and Drew for the first time and a beautiful friendship was born! I drove down (or up, I’m not sure) to meet them at Aphrodite Hills Resort where they were staying before their wedding at the famous Anassa Hotel and we just instantly got along like long lost friends. Anyway, the next day was the big one. Their wedding at Anassa Hotel in Latchi, Cyprus. This hotel is quite something. It’s sort of grand but at the same time unassuming and down to earth. Really nice, but not ostentatious. I did really annoy a hotel guest by accidentally drinking his water but that’s another story!!
Back to Clare and Drew. They are honestly two of the most kind-hearted people I’ve ever met, and they enjoyed the perfect wedding day at Anassa Hotel, with a bloomin’ gorgeous ceremony on the terrace in the sun overlooking the ocean. Just perfect!
