A Harrogate Pavilions Indian Wedding

Hemma and Chiraag’s uniquely beautiful Hindu wedding at Pavilions of Harrogate

When I arrived at Pavilions of Harrogate for Hemma and Chiraag’s Indian wedding, I found Hemma upstairs getting ready and we instantly got on so well. She was quite nervous so for most of the morning it was just me, Hemma and her makeup artist although her friends and family did keep popping in to check on her and of course when the time came, her mum and auntie were there to help get her dressed and make sure everything was perfect!

Chiraag’s arrival was spectacular, in a vintage car with his nieces and nephews, followed by his groomsmen party armed with smoke grenades it was a sight to behold! And then he got out and danced his way towards Hemma’s family surrounded by his own family.

Again it was amazing to have Hindu Priest Sundar Madhava Das overseeing their ceremony. Hemma made her entrance and although it was extremely windy, the priest made it such a wonderful atmosphere for their ceremony and they laughed all the way through which I always find so amazing to capture.

Afterwards we went off in the golf buggy to find some views for their portraits, and even headed into the woods at Harrogate Pavilions. Then it was quick change time for their civil ceremony, which was equally windy, emotional and joyous! After a bit of drinking and mingling, and a few more portraits, it was quick change time again for their reception – some amazing speeches, some amazing food and some high energy dancefloor action followed and I left them partying the night away. What a day!
