Beautiful Cheshire Wedding Photos 2 – A Warm Hug at Capesthorne Hall

One of my favourite things about being a Cheshire wedding photographer is the variety of truly incredibly Cheshire Wedding Venues. From rustic barn venues like Sandhole Oak Barn in the photo above, to grand country house estates like the iconic Capesthorne Hall. I stole Claire and Mike away from their guests for 2 minutes to make this beautiful Cheshire wedding photo for them at their Capesthorne Hall wedding.

Beautiful Cheshire Wedding Photos 3 – Making Art at Styal Lodge

My most local wedding venue of all is the beautiful Cheshire wedding venue Styal Lodge – a purpose built wedding barn in Cheshire with a gorgeous and well loved garden, and a private lake for some portraits, run by the most wonderful family. This beautiful Cheshire wedding photo was taken at Jen and Nick’s Styal Lodge Cheshire wedding in the evening while I was looking for some interesting light to make some art for them.

I care about capturing Cheshire weddings in a truly beautiful and unique way. I think weddings are beautiful things on every level, and I always spend some time making portraits without letting photography take over the day. This photo of Ashli was taken at the Cheshire wedding venue Colshaw Hall, at her and Ant’s Colshaw Hall Cheshire wedding and it’s one of my favourite pre-ceremony bridal portraits of all time.

Beautiful Cheshire Wedding Photos 5 – An iconic dress at Peckforton Castle

I’m always trying to make unique photos at every single wedding and while Katie was having her makeup done in the corner of the room, with her incredible Pronovias wedding gown hanging from the chandelier at the majestic Cheshire wedding venue Peckforton Castle, I was able to spend some time crafting this beautiful Cheshire wedding photo and to this day it remains one of my favourite ‘getting ready’ Cheshire wedding photos and has won many wedding photography awards too.

Beautiful Cheshire Wedding Photos 6 – Mother and Daughter at Sandhole Oak Barn

If you’ve read about my wedding photography style and approach, you’ll know I live for these iconic moments between brides and grooms and their families and friends. This photo was taken again at the Cheshire wedding venue Sandhole Oak Barn, just after the speeches at Kate and James’ Sandhole Oak Barn wedding when Kate went over to have a chat with her mum about all the beautiful things that had just been said.

Beautiful Cheshire Wedding Photos 7 – Lauren at Peckforton Castle

Finding cool locations and light is easy at venues as epic as Peckforton Castle. At Lauren and Robin’s Peckforton Castle Cheshire wedding I took them for a walk into the woods to get some beautiful Cheshire wedding photos for them and I just adore this photo of Lauren playing with her veil in a spot of sunlight. Perfection!

Beautiful Cheshire Wedding Photos 8 – The Lake at Sandhole Oak Barn

Back at Sandhole Oak Barn again for this after-dark wedding photo of Claire and Chris by the lake at Sandhole. I remember wandering outside during their party and seeing the colours on the lake and I just knew it would make a beautiful wedding photo for them, so I went in and asked them to come out just for a few minutes, and we made this photo, which went on to become an award winning wedding photo too.

Beautiful Cheshire Wedding Photos 9 – Laughter at the Bells of Peover

The most beautiful thing to me is the way people are with each other and Tim and Gemma just made each other laugh constantly, and laughter is a truly wonderful thing. The best. As with most couples Tim and Gemma had told me they weren’t very good at having their photo taken and always pulled stupid faces… well for this I just helped them be themselves at their Bells of Peover Cheshire wedding with some gentle direction to make what I think is a truly beautiful wedding photo and one they’ll always treasure.
