Becca and Charlie’s wedding in Bristol and Gloucester at Elmore Court

Oh man this was an amazing day down in Bristol and the Cotswolds at Elmore Court for Becca and Charlie’s wedding. I seriously loved every minute. I had met Becca and Charlie a few weeks earlier for a pre-wedding portrait shoot near Becca’s family home in Frenchay, Bristol and they just felt like old mates straight from the off. A fun couple of hours followed and then less than two months later I was back for their wedding, with their ceremony taking place at the church in Frenchay and reception at the absolutely gorgeous Elmore Court a short drive away in the Cotswolds… It was brilliant to work with Ben of Foster Filming fame on this one too!

After Becca, Charlie and their guests arrived at Elmore Court, they enjoyed drinks, canapes and garden games out on the lawns. The atmosphere was so perfect, as they chatted and laughed and enjoyed the company of all their favourite people on a perfect British summer day. After a few VIP group photos, we went off exploring…

Elmore Court is a photographer’s treasure trove of light. A crazy beautiful venue with the best of everything – we had fun exploring the grounds and the house making some photos for 20 mins or so just before Becca and Charlie went in for dinner. But Elmore Court is so beautiful that we could’ve easily spent another two hours and not run out of inspiration! I joined them for dinner in the stonkingly beautiful dining room which really did look tremendous. I’d attempt to describe it but ‘loads of leaves and candles and stuff’ doesn’t make it sound as spectacular as it was, so I’ve included a few photos instead!

The speeches after dinner were all hilarious and so eloquently delivered, and then as darkness fell outside everyone finally descended on the dance floor.

Becca and Charlie, it has been such a pleasure to get to know you both and I loved being your wedding photographer. I know you have crazy busy lives but keep making time to enjoy life as much as you did this day and I hope to see you again one day soon!
