Helen and Ian’s Summer in Shropshire Wedding Day
After a crazy August, July already seems so far away, but putting together the images for this post has brought back all those memories of the amazing summer we had before the weather went a bit pear shaped and, well, British again in August…
Helen and Ian got married at the end of July on one of the hottest days of the year at a beautiful church near their home in Shropshire before hot footing it over to Goldstone Hall via some corn fields for their reception. Their day was super relaxed and that suited Goldstone Hall perfectly. As wedding venues go it’s smaller than many, with a lovely marquee attached and amazingly manicured gardens. It’s a great venue and Helen and Ian used every bit of it, having their speeches by the garden before heading into the marquee for their wedding breakfast and quiz.
Ian’s best man was son Max… He pre-recorded his speech before the wedding, and it had everyone including me crying with laughter. Absolute comedy gold.
After another little jaunt into the corn fields to make the most of the golden evening light, it was back into Goldstone Hall where Helen and Ian had a blues brothers tribute band to entertain their guests into the early hours.
Loved it. Have a look…
