Mayur and Sajni’s Indian Wedding, September 2013
I photographed my first Indian wedding almost a year ago – Sonal and Parit’s Kenya Wedding – and that’s where I first met Mayur and Sajni. Theirs is now the third Indian wedding I’ve had the immense pleasure to be a part of. I love the chaos of Indian weddings, they are such busy events, structured but somehow chaotic at the same time. Not really knowing what is likely to happen next is a big thrill for me!
Mayur and Sajni’s wedding happened just over a month ago just outside London. It was a brilliant day from start to finish, and Sajni and Mayur and their families are some of the loveliest people I’ve met this year.
We didn’t end up having time on the wedding day to make any portraits of the two of them, so the next day we met up again at a Hare Krishna temple with lovely gardens for some portrait time. I’m so glad we did.
My favourites…
Massive congratulations Mayur and Sajni, have a lifetime of happy days.
