Ellen and Pete’s Cotswolds wedding at Lord of the Manor, Upper Slaughter

What a weekend of celebrations this was for Ellen and Pete’s wedding in the Cotswolds. I absolutely adore the Cotswolds – who doesn’t?! I wish I shot more weddings there and I really need to take the family there for a week sometime, because it’s just such a special part of the country. I think this might only be the 2nd or 3rd time I’ve photographed a wedding in the Cotswolds though, so that needs to change ASAP!

Ellen and Pete’s wedding had everything – a quintessential Cotswolds wedding venue in Lord of the Manor, with a short walk across the road to the church for their ceremony, but as you’ll see they had the coolest car ever, so even though it was only 500m away, they had to drive! They were also blessed with perfect weather so they could really enjoy the grounds at Lord of the Manor. The food was spectacular, and the fireworks – a surprise for their guests (and the village) – were next level.

It was great to have my good bud Stephen Walker as my wingman on this one, and to work with my old friend Aaron Jones at Reel Weddings on video duty.
