Nunsmere Hall Wedding Photography // Andy and Rachel’s Cheshire Wedding
My first wedding of 2013 was for Andy and Rachel at two stunning locations – the beautiful St Helen’s church in Tarporley, Cheshire followed by a reception at the lovely setting of Nunsmere Hall. What nobody expected was that there would be a few inches of snow on the ground, but it provided a magical backdrop to Andy and Rachel’s perfect day. Thanks to my great friend Chris Mee for working with me on this wedding!
I started the day with Rachel getting ready at Hollies Forest Lodges in Tarporley – a beautiful, peaceful location for her to get ready with her family and bridesmaids around her – I’d recommend anyone having a wedding at Nunsmere Hall to get ready here. And with the fir trees around the lodge covered in snow it was like a movie set! One of my favourite images below is the one of Rachel making her way to her vintage Jaguar wedding car through the snow covered fir trees…
Speaking of photos, want to see some? Here you go, have seventy-five…
This photo is my favourite of the year so far… This was a cold day – extremely cold with inches of snow on the ground and more falling. Chris and I went out and set this shot up before bringing Andy and Rachel out for a few quick night time portraits in the snow. I was proud of how the photo turned out, and more importantly Andy and Rachel love it too!
Massive congratulations to Andy and Rachel – your day was so special, and I loved capturing these photos for you. Your wedding album is going to be a thing of absolute beauty and I can’t wait to see which photos you choose to put into it!
