I absolutely loved Kelly and Mark’s wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn. It was such a chilled day at one of my favourite local Cheshire venues and Mark and Kelly are just incredible people with huge hearts. After they booked me, I used to chat to Mark quite a bit on twitter, then on instagram and by the time we eventually met up for their pre-wedding portraits only two days before the wedding I felt like an old mate, then after wandering the Saddleworth moors with them I just couldn’t wait for their wedding. And it didn’t disappoint.

Sandhole Oak Barn is a gorgeous venue on any day of any month of any year, but on a perfect day like this when it’s bathed in sunlight from morning to night, it’s an incredible place for a wedding. As much as it’s true that overcast light is the easiest to make photos with, sunlight is my favourite and we had it in abundance all day.

I had an absolute blast taking these photos for them… And yes, I’m pretty sure Mark has the widest smile in the world, and it hardly left his face for a moment all day.
