Adam + Cera’s uniquely beautiful wedding at Bridal Barn Claveley
What an amazing day this was.
I’ve known Adam for a few years now. I met him the first time when I was speaking for Sony at The Photography Show and I recognised him in the audience and went over to say hi… he’s a photographer too you see, and a very recognisable one as he’s 6’7″! From that day we struck up a bond and a friendship and I was absolutely over the moon when him and Cera asked me to be their wedding photographer at Bridal Barn Claveley. It’s obviously an honour when anyone asks me to be their photographer but I’m lucky that other photographers ask me to be their photographer once or twice a year too. There’s a certain pressure that comes with photographing another photographer’s wedding, but I always remind myself they’re a bride and groom on the day, not ‘photographer and bride’ and they booked me because they like what I do!
There was so much emotion rolled up in this day for Adam and Cera. They’ve had their own rollercoaster ride in life as it is, and then their original wedding date was slap-bang-in-the-middle of you-know-what (2020) and their wedding ended up being almost a year and a half later than planned – we met up on their original date at the beach and I took some photos of them, which I’ve included as the first three below…
The wedding day itself was just a complete joy from start to finish. Pure happiness and I was so happy that I got to be there and to be part of it as well as capturing it for Adam and Cera. They even had pie, mash and gravy for their wedding food, does it get any better?!
The evening party was in the tipi at Bridal Barn Claveley, and one of the best wedding bands I’ve ever seen – Ukebox Band! All the suppliers were amazing though, here’s a list:
