Winstanley House Indian Wedding
Shiv and Nim’s uniquely beautiful Indian wedding photography at Winstanley House near Leicester
I try and take the most beautiful wedding photos I can always, at every wedding. Always trying to be better. I always will. But I’m equally proud of how much people enjoy the experience of having me as their photographer alongside the fact they love their photos. I think that’s been the real key to more than a decade doing this wonderful job. And it leads to me doing more than one wedding for the same family or group of friends and that’s the greatest compliment of all, when a family keeps inviting me back into their lives to capture these iconic days of life.
Shiv and Nim, whose glorious faces you’ll see throughout this post asked me to be their Winstanley House wedding photographer because I’d photographed Shiv’s sister Sachna’s wedding to Kishan at Northbrook Park.
They had booked me because I’d shot Kishan’s cousin Sachin’s wedding to Natasha in Cardiff.
They booked me because I’d photographed Natasha’s brother Neil’s wedding to Natasha at Effingham Park.
They booked me because I’d photographed Natasha’s friend Ria’s wedding to Bejay at Down Hall.
And THEY booked me because of a recommendation from Sonal’s brother Paras after I photographed Sonal and Parit’s wedding in Kenya! And that wedding in Kenya back in 2012 was my first ever Indian wedding. But still I’m asked at every Indian wedding I photograph “is this your first Indian wedding?”!
Shiv and Nim got married at the really lovely Winstanley House in Leicester. A really great little country house.
Spending the day around these two just makes you happy. Nim has one of the world’s greatest happy faces. Truly. And Shiv is just a total dude, who I got on with from the moment I met him at his sister’s wedding when I first arrived. I was honestly so so happy they asked me to be their photographer. Total joy from start to finish.
