A Wokefield Park wedding
Kiran and Nij’s uniquely beautiful Wokefield Park wedding
Venue: Wokefield Park Estate
Planner: Shagun Weddings
This is parts one and two of Kiran and Nij’s three-part wedding extravaganza of a year. Well actually for Kiran and Nij there were more than three parts, but this is two of the three I was with them for! Part one was their pre-wedding shoot and I’ve mixed a few of those photos in below but this post is mainly to showcase their amazing civil wedding day and evening reception at Wokefield Park in Kiran’s home town of Reading.
I first met Kiran way back at Mona and Dipesh’s Wedding Reception at Gatwick Hilton – she’s actually in one of the photos in my blog post! Kiran is best friends with Mona’s sister Bijal, so I saw her again at Bijal and Hursh’s Euridge civil wedding (she made it into that blog post too) and then Nij spoke to me at Bijal and Hursh’s Indian wedding at Offley place (Nij made it into a couple of photos in that blog post) and they booked me soon after! You can also see Kiran, Nij, Bijal and Hursh in Sajnee and Akhil’s wedding, and all of them in this post because they’re all part of the same friend group, and I LOVED being part of all their weddings!
Anyway, all I’m saying is that it’s amazing how I get recommended so much within families and friend groups, it’s so wonderful and I’m so thankful.
Back to this day for Kiran and Nij and their Wokefield Park wedding! This was the day that the temperature reached record levels around 40C. It was BOILING. It had been boiling for a couple of weeks and the grounds of Wokefield Park near Reading looked more like an African Savannah! Pretty cool. Kiran and Nij both got ready at Wokefield Park so I was able to bounce between their rooms to capture them before their outdoor ceremony in the baking sun! It was such a beautiful ceremony!
Afterwards we did some group photos and explored the grounds of Wokefield Park for some 40 degree celsius portraits, but it was Kiran and Nij who brought the fire!
Then they all went and had a rest and got changed ready for a completely off-the-chain reception. It was madness from start to finish. These two, their families and friends are just the right amount of crazy and I love it. More to come soon when I post their Sikh Jago and wedding ceremonies!
