A Syon Park Indian Wedding
Sajnee and Akhil’s uniquely beautiful Syon Park Indian Wedding
Venue: Hilton Syon Park
What an utterly tremendous day this was with the amazing Sajnee and Akhil for their Hilton Syon Park Indian wedding! I already introduced you to them a few posts back when I posted about their civil wedding at Old Marylebone Town Hall and so here we are back for their Indian wedding at Hilton Syon Park!
I’ve told this story before but Sajnee and Akhil were the last to book me in a long line of referrals which started with Mona and Dipesh, who recommended me to Mona’s sister Bijal and Hursh, who recommended me to Bijal and Hursh’s friends Kiran and Nij as well as Sajnee and Akhil. They’re the most wonderful group of friends and I’ve been so so delighted to be part of all their weddings. They are just the greatest group of people and by now they all feel like my friends. I love seeing them at each other’s weddings and long may it continue!
Sajnee and Akhil’s Syon Park Indian wedding started with Akhil arriving in a Ferrari, surrounded by his family and greeted by Sajnee’s family. It was a beautiful autumnal morning and even though it wasn’t a long Baraat procession in distance, it lasted ages because they were having so much fun!
Once they got to the mandap together, I loved how much of a happy ceremony it was led by Hindu priest Kamal Pandey. So many smiles, so much laughter. A joy to be part of and capture for me.
After the ceremony we headed out to explore the gardens around Hilton Syon Park to make some beautiful portraits before they went to change for their reception. And what a reception it was! Sajnee and Akhil never left the dancefloor, and didn’t even look tired at the end!
