Paris Weddings – Tima and Gary
Engagement Shoot in Paris
Paris. It’s a romantic word all by itself. So I was utterly delighted when Tima and Gary asked me to join them in Paris for their pre-wedding experience engagement shoot.
Tima and Gary live all the way over in Australia and were having a European jaunt ahead of their Cheshire wedding at Belle Epoque in July. Gary’s family are from the UK, in case you’re wondering why!
So a month ago, after a few skype chats, and lots of emails I finally met them in Paris and we spent the day talking, laughing, walking (a LOT of walking) and taking some photos. We started in Montmartre, walked up to Sacre Coeur, had a break for lunch, then went to La Madeleine church, the Louvre gardens, Pont des Arcs (I call it the padlock love bridge), had another break then some dinner, wandered up the Champs Elysees and finished off at the Eiffel Tower. And in between all that we found some incredible little bits of true Paris like these first few photos in a little side street in Montmartre. A little bit of serenity in such a bustling city.
Tima and Gary’s styling is all their own work. I love the effort they went to, and the very fact they chose to bring me out to Paris, creating some really special photos around one of Europe’s most famous cities, in the build up to their wedding. Once in a lifetime stuff. Anyway, on with the photos…
Love.
A near death experience was totally worth it for these Champs Elysees photos.
Midnight.
And that’s Tima and Gary’s one day in Paris! I was exhausted but am so delighted with the results. The next morning we met up again and shot a roll of film – I’ll show you those next week some time!
Paris is a fascinating, incredible city. If you’d like a portrait shoot, pre-wedding shoot or engagement shoot in Paris, or are interested in having me as your Paris wedding photographer then please contact me – I’d really love to talk to you!
