An emotional Sun Pavilion Harrogate wedding for A+B

Amy and Ben’s gorgeous sunny Sun Pavilion Harrogate wedding

It had been such a long time since I’d visited this amazing wedding venue in Harrogate – the Sun Pavilion. Last time I was there was for Ben and Sarah’s Sun Pavilion wedding which was a gorgeous day for gorgeous people and I just knew that Amy and Ben would deliver more of the same gorgeousness, and it was so nice to be back at the Sun Pavilion!

I started the day with Ben and his parents and mates while they got ready and had a few drinks, and within seconds of walking through the door I just knew that today was going to be fun. Everyone smiling, a hint of nerves in the air, but only the good kind of ‘want it to go well’ nerves, and everyone focused on keeping spirits high.

Then I headed over to Amy and the girls and it was more of the same, I could hear the laughter as I walked up the driveway and it didn’t stop for the rest of the day.

If you’ve ever read my “ARJ Style” page you’ll know that a key element of my photos is capturing the energy and emotion of a wedding. Sometimes that bubbles away under the surface, sometimes I have to look harder than others, but sometimes – and this was one of those times – sometimes it’s right there, all around and everywhere. Amy and Ben wear their hearts on their sleeves and their emotions shine out of their faces. You’ll feel their total happiness as you scroll through the photos below. It was a joy to be there and it’s been a joy to pick photos for this blog post.
