A summer wedding at Grantley Hall

D+S amazing summer wedding extravaganza at the iconic Grantley Hall

I absolutely love a wedding at Grantley Hall. It’s such a stunning gem of a wedding venue, and for sure one of the best luxury wedding venues in the UK.

But what I love even more is getting to work with my friends Kate Park Events. They always create the most amazing wedding experiences, with an absolute dream team of suppliers (if I do say so myself) and it was a joy to work with Adam and Rachel of The Wedding Filmmakers for the first time ever on this one. And a singer you may recognise!

O+S had their wedding ceremony outdoors in the garden of Grantley Hall in the blazing summer sunshine, and it was spectacular! It’s choreographed spectacularly, as the bridal party are delivered to the end of the aisle by a fleet of Rolls Royce cars. It’s such an amazing beginning to the ceremony and really matches the grandeur of the venue. The theme for the whole bridal party on this Grantley Hall wedding was black and white with the groomsmen all in classic black tie, and the bridesmaids in black dresses it was really stunning!

After the ceremony we headed into the much cooler orangery to take shelter from the midday sun for a while. Sadly for me, I’d forgotten the sun cream and was already paying for it! O+S greeted their guests into the orangery with a classic champagne tower and I made one of my favourite photos of the whole year.

Next up speeches and dinner in the Grantley suite. I’ve included some photos of the details and room setup put together by Kate Park Events and it was a feast for the eyes before the actual feast began! The speeches were hilarious and heartfelt just the way wedding speeches should be!

Then, spectacularly, the party was kicked off by a very famous performer, before the wedding band took over and of course there was only one way to finish out this tremendous Grantley Hall wedding for O+S – fireworks!
