Niyati and Andrew’s Civil Ceremony and Indian wedding at Nunsmere Hall
Niyati and Andrew’s Cheshire wedding at Nunsmere Hall had everything. Seriously! It was a busy day packed with action and full of happiness.
The day started with Niyati and her sister getting ready together in Niyati’s first dress for the civil ceremony. It was chilled and lovely and I just knew it was going to be an epic day.
Soon after, Andrew arrived, but this wasn’t just any arrival as he was given the full Hindu reception and a proper Baraat arrival by Niyati’s family, as he and his family were led to Nunsmere Hall by dhol drummers followed by the traditional Milni ceremony as the families came together. It was really special.
After that they had their civil ceremony in the drawing room, and we headed for a walk down to the lake in the short amount of time we had before Niyati had to be back in hair and makeup for look and dress number two.
Next was their Hindu ceremony in the Nunsmere marquee which was somehow very intimate and lovely despite being in what must be the biggest marquee in the world! There were some emotional moments and lots of laughter as everyone really enjoyed the ceremony.
Niyati and Andrew had time for some drinks on the terrace with their family and friends before yet another hair, makeup and dress change for the reception, which was just as epic!
