An Old Marylebone Town Hall and St Paul’s Cathedral Wedding
Lisa + Hyung Yoon’s uniquely beautiful London wedding at Old Marylebone Town Hall and St Paul’s Cathedral
Venue: Old Marylebone Town Hall
When Lisa first got in touch with me, she told me that her and Hyung Yoon were planning a low key ceremony and dinner with only their closest family at the iconic Old Marylebone Town Hall and Phoenix Palace. It was still to be an incredibly special day with Hyung Yoon’s family all flying in from Korea to be part of their celebrations.
But before that, they wanted to spend some time exploring their favourite spots around London. London isn’t the easiest city to get photos at tourist hotspots because… well… people… so we decided to get up at sunrise together and do as much as we could while the world was asleep and it was just epic! We started off just before sunrise – meeting outside the hotel where they were staying – my favourite Landmark Hotel in London – and we headed to St Paul’s Cathedral. I’m not exaggerating when I say it felt like we had London to ourselves for the first hour or so while we explored the streets around St Paul’s.
After that we jumped in a car with their close friends and went to one of their other favourite places, Primrose Hill Pergola just in time for it opening. A few other hardcore pergola fans were out, but again we had the park and the pergola to ourselves, along with some beautiful early morning London light. It was cold but it was beautiful and so special.
After that we headed up Parliament Hill to get a couple of photos before heading back to the Landmark Hotel for a McDonalds, a nap (that was just Lisa!), and to get ready for the Old Marylebone Town Hall ceremony and dinner!
I loved everything about this day in London.
