Roof Gardens, Kensington Wedding + Exhibitionist Hotel Wedding Reception
Rhiannon and Jack’s London wedding at Kensington Roof Gardens and Exhibitionist Hotel
Capturing Rhiannon and Jack’s London wedding was just a dream. They are insanely lovely people with hearts of absolute gold that they wear proudly on their sleeves. They just wanted a day filled with fun and laughter, with not too much formality or ceremony, some great food and drink and for everyone to have a great time time. Along with a little fantasy of course…
As massive Peter Pan fans they chose the Roof Gardens in Kensington because of it’s slightly other-worldly qualities. You definitely don’t feel like you’re in the city, but at the same time you feel like you’re floating above it and that’s why they chose it. They were really super keen to get a cool, fun, set of portraits around the Roof Gardens which reflected firstly how much they love each other, but also the quirky eclectic, fantasy-like nature of this most unique of London wedding venues!
They got ready at Exhibitionist Hotel before heading over to the Roof Gardens by cab. A rainy July day forced them to have everything indoors but after the ceremony there was a dry hour so they were able to enjoy the gardens with their guests for a bit before heading back in for some dinner. After dinner it was raining but Rhiannon and Jack were super cool, grabbed an umbrella and we explored the gardens making portraits (and even making some sun) for a while, Rhiannon in bare feet the whole time! Then we all left Kensington Roof Gardens and headed back to the Exhibitionist Hotel for a really chilled, low key reception.
After delicious sourdough pizzas from Franco Manca, we did a bit of exploring of the Exhibitionist Hotel making a few more portraits before I gave them big hugs and said my goodbyes.
I feel so lucky to have been part of Rhiannon and Jack’s amazing London wedding day! Here are some of my favourites from their Roof Gardens Kensington and Exhibitionist Hotel wedding…
