Indian Wedding Photography West Sussex
Natasha and Neil at the Copthorn Effingham Park
I photographed my first Indian wedding three years ago – Sonal and Parit’s Naivasha wedding – and that wedding has directly or indirectly led to every other Indian wedding I’ve ever shot. Sonal’s brother recommended me to Ria and Bejay for their wedding down in Essex, who then recommended me to their best friends Natasha and Neil, and now Neil’s sister has booked me for her wedding next year in Cardiff so the chain continues! I love it!!
Indian weddings are amazing. Highly choreographed in some ways and completely unpredictable and dynamic in others. A complete emotional rollercoaster and so much emotional investment from the wider family. I hugely love being part of Indian weddings.
So this is Natasha and Neil. They are brilliant. Natasha has one of the best smiles you will ever see and Neil is one of the funniest, most warm hearted people you’ll meet. They got married at the Copthorne Effingham Park in West Sussex near Gatwick Airport. I arrived the evening before to see so many friendly faces that I recognised and I immediately felt at home. There is no better feeling than this, in what can be quite a solitary job at times. Their wedding day was a total feast for the eyes as well as the emotions, thanks in no small part to Bhav and the Mistique Events team who made the venue look out of this world amazing.
What a day this was, from the quiet calm as they got ready in rooms next door to each other, to the palpable emotion as Natasha walked up the aisle with her brother, to the hilariously competitive post-ceremony games (which Natasha won hands down, sorry Neil) and then into one of the most epic parties I’ve ever witnessed. Natasha, Neil and all their guests had the time of their lives. Here are some of the photos I took as it flashed before my eyes…
