A Trinity Hall Cambridge Wedding
Ayuko and Stephen’s uniquely beautiful summer wedding at Trinity Hall Cambridge University
Venue: Trinity Hall, Cambridge University
This was my third Cambridge University wedding, after Matthew and Evianne’s wedding at Clare College and S+A’s wedding at Kings College. This time it was Ayuko and Stephen at Trinity Hall. And wow what a day it was!
It was a scorching summer day, and when the sun shines in Cambridge the architecture just comes to life, I love it. It’s like being in a Hollywood film set!
Ayuko got ready at Trinity Hall before making the short walk to the Clare College chapel where Stephen was waiting. And honestly I don’t think even Hollywood could design a chapel with the atmosphere and beauty of the chapel at Clare College, honestly. Doing it justice in photos, while focusing on the moments between Stephen and Ayuko was the pressure!
After that they walked together back to Trinity hall, had drinks in the garden, went punting on the river, then had dinner in the epic dining hall at Trinity Hall. During dinner Ayuko’s cousin played the Shamisen – a Japanese traditional string instrument. This was a special nod to Ayuko’s culture – she’s Japanese and all her family had flown in from Japan for the wedding. This was probably my favourite moment of the day, personally!
After dinner they moved into a classic student bar for the party where a great time was had by all!
