A Winter wedding at Gosfield Hall in Essex
M+E’s amazing wedding at Gosfield Hall with a spectacular dress and Vera Wang bow and vintage Chanel jewellery!
Bride’s Makeup: Amber Harlow
I flipping adored Marco and Emma’s wedding – and my first wedding at Gosfield Hall too! As soon as I walked into the room where Emma was having her makeup done by the absolutely wonderful Amber Harlow who I highly recommend, I knew it was going to be a really amazing day. I was made to feel like an old friend from the moment I arrived by everyone, and that’s the most amazing feeling!
Emma had put so much thought into her fashion for the day, but her indecisive side was on show straight away as she had four pairs of epic wedding shoes lined up because she just couldn’t decide between them. That was paired with vintage chanel jewellery, an insanely amazing dress and finished with a vintage cathedral length veil and a Vera Wang bow that was spectacular as you’ll see.
Marco looked great too 😉
Their ceremony was in a church not far from Gosfield Hall and I really loved capturing this ceremony. It was full of gorgeous little moments between E+M and their vicar really relaxed them so they were able to enjoy the ceremony and take it in – that’s an unsung skill of a vicar in my book! He made it so special and so enjoyable for everyone.
Then we headed back to Gosfield Hall and after a wet and windy morning, we were blessed with some epic sunshine for their portraits. Winter sunsets are something else, and we explored a bit of Gosfield Hall while we waited for their guests to arrive back from the church. Although the wet ground meant we had to be careful with THAT DRESS!
The rest of the day was equally gorgeous and cosy and intimate, everything that makes a winter wedding special, and the cherry on top was finishing with fireworks and sparklers.
It was also great to see my friends David and Sarah at this one, who I’d captured earlier that year at their Broadfield Court wedding.
Enjoy my favourites from this wedding at Gosfield Hall!

This next photo is my favourite photo from this wedding. I just love Emma’s expression, and the way Marco is looking at her while also adjusting his brand new wedding ring.
