A Jamaican Nigerian Wedding at Parklands Quendon Hall
O+M’s family focused wedding at Quendon Hall
Venue: Parklands Quendon Hall
I’ve done some amazing weddings at Quendon Hall over the years, and O+M’s wedding was just the latest and equally amazing one! I knew it was going to be something special because I knew O from the time he was best man at M+T’s wedding at Chateau Saint Jeannet a few years ago! This time M was O’s best man!
The day began with me hanging out with O and his entourage as they got ready amidst top quality banter. I bounced between him, M having her makeup done and their guests arriving to make sure I was able to capture the whole story for them as I always do!
The ceremony was due to happen outside, but it became too risky with the weather so it was moved into the marquee which I thought looked amazing! As I’ve always said, rain never stops play at a wedding and I’ve never known the weather spoil the vibe of the day. The venue and planners were amazing in getting the marquee ready for the ceremony, and what a ceremony it was – it was the same priest from M+T’s wedding, and he’s amazing – such a ray of sunshine and the ceremony was full of iconic moments.
After some drinks, and some group photos, and some couple photos, we headed back into the marquee for the dinner and speeches – a full on feast of Jamaican and Nigerian food to pay homage to O+M’s heritage – it was delicious!
What a group of people and what a wedding this was!
