Rachel and Ben’s Colshaw Hall Wedding

Rachel and Ben’s wedding was super chilled and super fun from start to finish. They have a massive circle of close friends and the banter levels were off the scale from the moment I arrived from the moment I left.

They got married at the lovely Colshaw Hall in Cheshire, and both got ready there too – Rachel in the main house and Ben in one of the cottages with his entourage of groomsmen assembled from all over the world!

Their ceremony was an emotional rollercoaster which included tears, singing, and uncontrollable laughter when Ben’s phone rang, he tried to hide it and then Rachel announced it to the room! After some frankly hilarious bridal party portraits (most uncontrollable group ever) they headed back to the walled garden for more drinks and fun… and cigars, which Ben didn’t know what to do with as you’ll see below.

We explored Colshaw Hall’s beautiful grounds a little bit before they headed in for speeches and dinner, then they partied hard. A highlight being when one of Ben’s groomsmen Justin got up to play ‘just one quick song’ with the band and ended up playing the whole set as lead singer and guitarist – he’s an immensely talented man and had the whole dancefloor loving it! Kudos to the band for letting him join in too.
